"***Sort of a Spoiler to Explain Review - Read at Your own Risk***

Abena and Santiago, were enemies after an incident two years ago that neither forgot. The air was full of tension between the two when they found themselves working for the same boss, who was a friend.

Santiago had work to do and his focus was interrupted with Abena and her with him. The two fight often, Santiago taking every opportunity to chastise her about her fiancé. Yes, she wore a large rock on her left hand, that belonged to Marc who wanted to marry her and soon. However, there was a problem - a big one - Santiago. 👉🏽 Here comes that Spoiler 👉🏽 👉🏽👉🏽 Eventually things blow up with Marc and Santiago and Abena have a choice to make.

Abena has issues with being accepted with her traditional family. Santiago is seeking to prove he is worthy.

The two main characters collide with passion and anger at times. She wants things from Santiago that he may never be able to give. Meanwhile Santiago’s letting his need to prove someone wrong cost him what he could have with Abena.

The book is full of passion and moments that make it a worthy read. I was even shocked when I read the “F” word in the book in a passionate scene. Ms. DD is always passionate with her writing, but I can’t recall ever reading those words in the mist of one.

Pros:
Well written as always
Passionate lovers
Two cultures colliding
Real story and characters
Alpha male who says things men actually say when they are jealous
Abena isn’t a doormat, and is strong but with a conscious

Cons:
I would have liked to have seen more about him and his father and his sister and her father."

  • It's bittersweet that the Latin Series has come to an end, but Delaney did what only she could do. Fusing together two cultures of strength and love. What we have in Santiago and Abena was magical. It was not perfect but instead perfectly imperfect. Abena having to come into her own womanhood while remaining true to her upbringing. Santiago having to not allow his past keep him from his present. It was a good mix of emotional pull and internal strength to succeed. It was beautiful and I rooted for them each step of the way. As I paraphrase the line, "love chooses you, you don't get to choose love". It was the freeing moment between Abena and her aunt that reconciled her heart to Santiago.
  • OMG I loved this one so much! The way the heroine's culture is incorporated was amazing and so respectful! And I can't tell Ms. Diamond how much I love that she makes a big focus on Latino heroes(mostly Argentine and Brazilian) with black women instead of regular ole Anglo guys.

Abena was such an AMAZING heroine. I love that she made her Ghanaian! She was so friggin relatable and hard working and just the perfect heroine for every story. I've read nearly all Ms.Diamond's books and so far this one is my fave heroine.

The story was full of angst and drama in a way that's so engaging and entertaining that you will legit not stop reading until you hit the last page. Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and with this story it just really worked. And poor Santiago, he had daddy issues for real. His pops was a trip. No wonder he didn't believe in anyone. I'm so glad he found his match with Abena, they were perfect for each other!!!!!!!!!!

Hands down my fave Delaney Diamond book to date!!!
  • As usual, Ms. Diamond shines in this latest book. I was waiting for her next release, and I ate it up!! The story was hot as usual, and I was happy to see the confrontation between Santiago and Abena explained with this story. It was passionate, and the plot compelling. The only thing I thought was missing was Esteban's reaction to their relationship. This isn't really touched on in the story, but it's not a major flaw. Ms. Diamond proves again that her writing is of superior quality, with no mistakes I could see. So happy to see her keep story-telling, and I can't wait to read her next installation!
  • We all know Delaney Diamond is an excellent writer and this book did not disappoint. I have anticipated Santiago and Abena's story since their introduction in "More Than A Mistress". Santiago was as hot, sexy and complicated as the alpha men in the other series books. Abena had to make a choice between true love and family expectations/obligations. Santiago and Abena were able to overcome family challenges and personal struggles so they could be together. "Undeniable" was great ending to the Latin Men Series.
  • Delaney Diamond delivers with Abena and Santiago's adventure. I love that Abena didn't immediately capitulate to Santiago's expectations, and that she didn't rush into a marriage with her fiance. I appreciate DD showing how consumed Santiago was with Abena. Abena demonstrated admirable strength in ending things, and distancing herself from Santiago. I found it respectful the reverence that Santiago showed for Abena's culture and family. What a nice read!
  • Definitely hate to see the 'Latin Men' series come to an end, but all good things eventually do, huh? As with all Delaney Diamond books I've read, "Undeniable" does not disappoint. The story flows effortlessly from beginning to end which is probably contributed to the amazing character chemistry. If you have not had a chance to check out this series, the holiday break is the perfect time to take the dive in.

  • I loved this book. The story line was different, well developed with great characters and off the chart love making . I like that the female was strong, established with a great career and confident in her abilities to make it without the aid of a male. Also that everyone is seeking love and that special someone is out there. Overall a great book and you will not be disappointed.
