"Curious about the 1 Star ratings, I read them. YES, this is a workbook - which I usually don't really like to do. BUT THIS WAS WAY BETTER AS A WORKBOOK, than simply a book BECAUSE Priscilla has one identify their current life issues (ex -strain with a boss, feeling defeated as a mom with parenting issues, financial concerns, upcoming holidays with troublesome relatives, etc. etc.) and then has me apply the armor to these issues as we study each new piece of armor. Talk about user friendly! Each piece of armor has 5 days of study to understand and apply it to my life. #2 - THIS IS NOT A SCARE TACTIC (this is about the reality of Satan and his attempts to diminish/sabotage our relationships with God and those around us). After all, what was Jesus talking about when he told Peter, "Get behind me Satan!"? Peter was speaking out words that Satan would use to divert the Lord from defeating Satan on the Cross! Whether you like to think about Satan or not, THE TRUTH IS THAT WE ALL HAVE INNER STRUGGLES and OUTWARD CHALLENGES at times, that often spill out into our relationships with others. And this sometimes causes us to ask "WHERE ARE YOU GOD?" or "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?" The Armor of God which the Apostle Paul teaches about in EPHESIANS 6:8-10 helps us to focus on going to God with our struggles, our torn relationships, our pressing issues in life instead of trying to handle them on Our Own or being Overwhelmed by them. This is not about fearing Satan, but about how to ALWAYS BE READY TO seek God's counsel and learn to ask Him how to respond, how to put things in His hands, trusting Him, and no longer worry and no longer walk around with a defeated outlook. God is our Strength, and our biggest Encourager. He gave us Spiritual Armor TO USE! (Ephesians 6:10-18) And like any one who uses armor in a battle, we need to learn what our armor is, what it does, and how to use it. THIS IS A GREAT DEVOTIONAL book to draw you closer to the Lord and strengthen your faith. Ask the Lord and see if He thinks it's a good idea :) Then use it. You are in my prayers this day. - The study is fantastic, but my book has a serious flaw. In week 3, I have the first 2 days of material, then the page number goes from 80 to 65. It repeats the material from 65-80, then jumps up to 97. I'm missing a bunch of material (80-97) Luckily, someone else in the group had a book that wasn't messed up and was able to make a copy of my missing pages. I wish I would have come across this before my window to return/exchange it or I would request a new book. So, be sure you check your book right away for this error. Very disappointing!

With her trademark down-to-earth honesty and transparency, Priscilla has penned a remarkable study on every Christian's battle armor.
In this amazing, God-inspired 6 week Bible study you "won't be able to sit back and just observe, you'll have to full engage" and participate to reap the full benefits of all the armor God has given for our defense against the attacks of the enemy.

Do yourself a favor and get this Bible study, I highly recommend it! It's so well done! - I have been a Christian my entire life. I struggle to read God's word. However, when I do life is so much better. I was invited to do a bible study with a bunch of women I had never even met. Little did I know.... this book, this study, Priscilla herself, the women in my bible study and God have changed my life forever. This study was the best thing I could have ever done for myself. I am forever grateful to everyone who directed me to be who I am today!! Please do this bible study!! I can't wait to do more studies from Priscilla. Next.. I want to watch her in person!! This is now on my bucket list!!! Thank you for this study. I hope everyone gets the same things out of it that I did!! Get ready to dig in and hold on tight the devil will fight you but God will win ALWAYS! You need to do the work!!! Trust me it was a fight but I am forever grateful. I just bought another book for my mom so we can do it together. (Yes, I'm doing it all over again) also bought2 of the kids books and the kids leader book so the 4 of us can do it together. I also bought another one of her books. I love her and how God has used her!!!!
- This bible study was recommended to me by a friend so I decided to try it out. I was a little concerned because a reviewer mentioned the pages were missing in their copy so when I received mine I skimmed through the book and thankfully everything is there. I really like the layout of the book and I look forward to begining this study. I will provide an updated review upon completion.
